As we deal with bitterly cold conditions across the Region this morning, they’re dealing with a winter storm in portions of Missouri and Arkansas where 6-10 inches of snow will fall. Locally, the lake effect machine will continue to crank into Michigan with snow showers making it into LaPorte County at times today and tomorrow. If you have travel plans eastbound along I-94 or the Toll road, plan to encounter some lake snow as you head through LaPorte County towards South Bend. Otherwise it’s a temperature story with 10s today and tomorrow and 20s in the forecast for Thursday and Friday before we break free from this arctic hit!
