Snow Update: Thursday Evening Edition

Get ready for some snow! Not a lot, but some. Snow is on the way as the big winter storm for the southern Plains and Tennessee Valley continues to develop. Our going forecast looks on track with a few inches possible throughout the day tomorrow. Snow should begin before the morning rush and continue through early afternoon before becoming for scattered for that evening rush hour. We’re still not expecting this to be a huge deal, but we’ll likely have slick roads, especially those that are untreated for the morning rush and throughout the day. High temps will push into the upper 20s so road treatment will be very effective, but the widespread nature of this snow in addition to the persistence will likely lead to some problem areas in the Region.
