BECOMING WINDY, BRIEF SNOW LATER TODAY
Good Wednesday morning everyone! A storm system will dive southeast through the Great Lakes today bringing an arctic front through the Region this afternoon. We’ll likely get a burst of snow as the front goes through putting down a quick coating of snow across the Region with the potential to slicken up those area roadways for the evening rush hour.
Otherwise it’s a wind issue with gusts over 40 mph possible today and a temperature issue as we’ll go from the mid and upper 30s back into the 10s in the hurry late this evening into tonight.
Lake effect snow will get going tonight and tomorrow and will focus on LaPorte County with snow showers possible back into Porter County tomorrow. We’re not expecting a lot of snow, but a few inches are possible in LaPorte County by tomorrow night.
