Good Monday morning everyone! A weak clipper system will slide by well to our south helping to redirect the wind off of Lake Michigan. This will bring a band of developing lake effect snow out of Michigan and into northern Indiana later today with lake snows expected to continue tonight before winding down. In the big picture of lake snows, this won’t be a big deal. However, we could get some bursts of heavier snow causing rough travel along 94 and the Toll Road mainly east of La Porte. Several inches of snow are possible where bands persist in eastern LaPorte County over towards South Bend. Otherwise a few flurries or light snow showers are possible outside of these zones with little to no impacts. All of us will be dealing with the COLD today and tonight with highs stuck in the 20s and lows back into the 10s tonight.

thanks Matt! I live in the Easter side of Laporte near Michigan state line and it’s always hard to know what our weather will be in our little bubble. We appreciate you so much!
