Good Tuesday morning everyone! How nice is it to see the sunshine again? Bright sunshine can be expected today–it’s so good to have it back–before clouds begin to increase later today out ahead of our next storm system. It will be breezy and cool today with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s. Tonight our next storm system moves in. The area of low pressure will be well south of us so we’ll have eyes on the northern edge of the shield of precip coming off this low. As a result, there will be a sharp cutoff to where the rain/snow mix is and where there is nothing falling. That line looks to take place somewhere over the Region (of course!). So we’ll paint the forecast with rain/snow moving in tonight–favoring areas that are further south. A shift to the north with this low by even a few miles would bring the action all the way up to the lakeshore–stay tuned!
