As we mentioned in our broadcast last night, we’re expecting a solid area of widespread steady snow to work into the Region from the north later this morning. This snow will last for several hours bringing a few inches of snow to our area. Expect impactful travel later this morning through early afternoon as the snowfall rates should be enough to overcome the mainly above-freezing road temps. Untreated bridges and overpasses have been slick this morning and they will likely continue to be as this snow moves back in today. Warmer air moves in aloft this afternoon changing our snow over to rain showers or areas of drizzle through evening.
