It’s that time of year–much cooler air is flowing over Lake Michigan as an area of low pressure swirls southeast across the Great Lakes. The result is widespread lake effect rain that has developed downwind of all the lakes including right here in NWI. We’re expecting lake effect rain to continue all the way through early Wednesday! It will go back and forth between being organized and unorganized–but some locations in Lake, Porter, and La Porte counties could pick up to 2 inches of rain before Wednesday! This is much-needed rain, but the clouds and rain on a Monday are a bit tough–stay strong! Temps will hold in the low 50s the next few days.
