Dodging Weekend Rain

The good news: we have much-needed rain on the way!

The bad news: it’s arriving on our weekend 😦

A frontal boundary will sink south and stall over the Region today and a narrow band of showers and a few storms are expected to develop right where the front settles. Scattered rain chances will continue tonight over the Region before the rain along this stalled out front fades as energy heads up to an approaching low to our north. This should provide us a break from the rain for much of our Sunday until the low itself moves in bringing shower chances back later in the day. We then turn blustery and much cooler Monday with lake effect rain likely. Temps will struggle to hit the low 50s with cooler temps expected through the middle of next week!
