Our stagnant, late summer pattern will finally get moving again after nearly 2 weeks of little movement. This will begin to bring storm systems through the Region again starting this upcoming weekend. The first front arrives on Friday and it will be losing steam as it moves in–but the potential is there for a few downpours in the Region. Our better chance for rain arrives Sunday into the beginning of next week with rain and storms likely as an area of low pressure zips through the Great Lakes. Temps will drop back into the 70s for much of next week as attention will then turn towards the Gulf of Mexico where the tropics may get going by the end of next week. Stay tuned!
