It’s been a nice stretch of cooler, comfortable weather but it’s about to come to an end as heat and humidity makes a return over the weekend. In terms of humidity, it will begin to ramp up Saturday leading to afternoon pop-up storm chances. Sunday will feature a better chance for storms, but they will be scattered so there’s a chance not everyone sees rain. The bigger story will be the heat with forecasted heat indices getting into the upper 90s and even low 100s next week depending on the timing of any storms.
