Explosive storms stretch from Minnesota to Nebraska to Kansas this evening and we’ll be honing in on the Nebraska and western Iowa action. 90 mph winds are being reported with these storms in Nebraska! This large complex of storms will continue to race its way in our direction and will likely arrive during the early morning hours. (after 2am as of now). Still some discrepancy on how well they hold together at that point–but we’ll likely get something off of these for those early morning risers through the morning commute time. As always in this pattern, we’ll wait and see. I’ll be up bright and early tracking these for you and will pass along any updates as needed. We’ll likely have another round at some point later in the day. Lots to watch!
