A Good Example of Variable Clouds

Happy Sunday everyone! You’ve probably heard the term “variable clouds” used in the forecast before and today is a great example of that! We have several different types of clouds floating over us and at multiple levels in the atmosphere. We have cumulus clouds at the lower levels moving from north to south off the lake and more notably as you look up-multiple layers of mid and high level cloudiness from old thunderstorms and from a nearby frontal boundary! These clouds will mix with sunshine throughout the day with a pop up shower risk. We’ll talk about the week ahead and a potential hot end to the month in tonight’s Region Weather LIVE broadcast. See you then!
