You made it to the weekend! Congrats! We’ll be jumping right into our new pattern today with a hot and humid weekend ahead. This pattern is the typical summer-time setup with a massive dome of heat in the central US (some of which we obviously will be feeling) and large complexes of storms that develop on the eastern periphery of that ridge. This pattern is highly variable and models give little guidance as to when/where these complexes develop–all that to say we’re going to broad-brush the forecast with storm “chances” as we’re favoring Saturday night and Sunday as the highest likelihood that a complex of storms rolls through. Most hours this weekend look dry, hot, and humid!
Check back for updates throughout the weekend and enjoy!
