5:40 PM SATURDAY STORM UPDATE

A small cluster of storms is moving through northern Illinois and is producing an outflow boundary that will push through the Region over the next few hours. This outflow boundary may serve as a focus for additional downpour development. While the entire cluster is in the weakening phase, we may pop a downpour or two as this moves through. Attention will then turn towards a larger complex of storms moving through Wisconsin that will likely curve its way towards us late this evening into tonight. This will feature our best chance at storms—we’ll keep you updated on the track and intensity of these storms as they approach later tonight.
