Good early Wednesday morning to you everyone–after a rainy night that trend will continue through our Wednesday morning as we’ll now be on the backside of the remnants of Beryl. Rainfall amounts vary widely across the Region with anywhere from 1.5 inches up to over 4 inches of localized rain here in the Region. Northwestern Lake County has received the most with that Flash Flood Warning that was issued yesterday, but another area of heavy rain fell in a line from Newton to Jasper to Starke counties where 1.5 to 3.5 inches of rain has fallen.
Our other issue this morning is that we’ll have gusty winds as this low deepens to our north. Lake Michigan will become quite disturbed with 6-8 footers expected. We could have wind gusts over 40 mph at times as this low pulls away.
