Good Monday morning to all of our Region Weather email subscribers! I hope your weekend was great and that you were able to catch a bit of our Region Weather LIVE broadcast last night over on our Facebook page. We talked a lot about this week’s HEAT. Yes, it’s June, but the tough part is the longevity of this stretch of heat and it’s particularly dangerous for those that don’t have a way to cool themselves with AC etc.

It IS a perfect beach day today if you happen to have the week off work or can sneak away for a bit. It’ll still be great this evening if that’s not the case! We’ll have a nice breeze, lots of sunshine and waves that aren’t rocking and rolling. We’ll have to keep an eye out for a few pop-up downpours this afternoon during our peak heating–otherwise the heat alone makes us want to put our feet in water as we surge into the mid 90s this afternoon!
