We know we have some heat on the way beginning tomorrow and lasting through much of next week–but we also have that summer-time humidity making a return to the Region as well. Take a look at the nice, comfortable, dry airmass we have in place now as denoted by the blue shaded areas (dews in the 40s). Look at the SURGE in humidity coming from the Gulf of Mexico as we start the week as denoted by the orange colors. This high dewpoint air eventually find its way towards us by Monday and sticks around for the entire week with no end in sight.
