Good Sunday morning everyone! After a beauty of a day yesterday, we’re in store for a good soaking this morning as a line of heavy rain-producing thunderstorms moves through the Region. For the most part, I’m expecting these storms to remain sub-severe as we lack instability this far north with this system. We could still see a few pockets of stronger winds develop within the initial line, but we’re mainly looking at a good soaking rain this morning. The Indy 500 isn’t looking too great around midday–but for those of us with afternoon plans, I think we catch a break for a few hours before more scattered showers and storms pop once we gain some additional instability later today. This looks like the bigger show this morning with this line of soaking rain just FYI.
