Tuesday Morning Storm Update

Our line of strong to severe storms continues to track east and will move through the Region this morning bringing a quick round of heavy rain and more importantly, pockets of strong winds. We’ve had 40-55 mph winds on the leading edge of much of this line and I’m expecting the same to blow through here with this line. The entire thing IS weakening slowly as it gets away from the cold front itself, but we’ll all be impacted by some wind and rain with this.

Beyond this line we’ll see more storms pop early this afternoon as we begin to warm up again. Any of our early afternoon storms could be strong to severe before our threat ends later this afternoon into the evening as more stable air moves in!
