Severe Weather Update For Tonight & Tomorrow

Good Wednesday evening everyone! Storms are quickly developing this evening down towards Missouri along a frontal boundary that will push north overnight.

These storms will be severe overnight to our south, but once they arrive into the Region I’m just expecting heavy rain and some general thunderstorm activity with lightning overnight into the morning hours.

Once this round clears out–and IF it clears out–out atmosphere still has plenty of time to recover tomorrow (Thursday depending on when you’re reading this) to produce another round of rain and storms along the cold front itself. This round, depending on our amount of clearing and ability to destabilize, could produce some severe storms in and around the Region.

Once this round clears later tomorrow, we’ll turn cooler and much more stable into the Thursday night-Friday timeframe. We’ll have updates all along the way on our Facebook Page including LIVE coverage if needed!
