Turning Colder, Slick Travel Possible Late This Evening

First of all, happy Friday! You made it, congrats! We’ll have a quiet day today with increasing clouds expected. Highs will reach into the mid and upper 40s inland, but will hold in the 30s near the lake with our northerly breeze. An arctic front will move through late this evening bringing rain/snow showers that quickly change over to snow showers late this evening. We won’t have problems initially, but as temps drop quickly into the 20s we could see any lingering snow showers begin to slicken up area roads late this evening into tonight. Not a huge deal as we won’t see much snow at all, but keep this in mind if heading out for a late evening dinner. We stay cold tomorrow before we quickly bounce back into the 50s Sunday!
