We have a nice spring-like warm up out ahead of us this week as a strong storm system in California heads into the northern Plains and helps to push warm air our way. Until then, we have a quiet start with areas of fog and temps in the 40s this afternoon. Once again, it will be much colder as you get close to the lake, especially in Lake County heading up the bend north into Chicago.
Expect more of the same tomorrow, but we’ll all experience more sunshine with temps warming into the upper 40s. We’ll turn mostly cloudy on Wednesday as our storm system begins to approach but temps should push 50 with our next shot at rain not arriving until Thursday with 50s for highs.
