Colder & A Bit Snowy From Here

This powerful storm system continue to push northeast and we’ll begin to deal with the second half of the system shortly with rain rotating back into the Region and then changing to some snow late this evening into tonight. It will begin to move through pretty quickly tonight so we’re still not expecting much snow–but a coating to an inch or so is possible by tomorrow morning. We could have some slick spots for that morning rush, but overall impacts look to remain low.

Beyond that, we track our next system in here Friday with the potential for our first decent snow of the season (as we’ve talked about the last two nights on our broadcast). Beyond THAT, we have bitter cold arctic air still slated to arrive this weekend into next week.

We’ll be back on the broadcast side once again starting Wednesday night to keep you out ahead of the lovely January weather we have coming our way!
