Morning Slick Spots

Good Wednesday morning everyone! We have areas of light drizzle this morning and combined with surface temps at or below freezing we’re seeing a light glaze on primarily elevated surfaces. We’ll develop a bit more “lift” this afternoon as a frontal boundary approaches helping to create scattered snow showers later today into tonight. A cosmetic coating to an inch (or two if things go well) is possible as lake effect snow showers take over tonight into the first half of your Thursday with cold highs in the low 30s. Not a big deal on the scale of January lake effect events, but some slick travel is possible in the next 36 hours.
