This cold air continues to spill over our relatively warm Great Lakes and combined with the gusty winds–we’re seeing lake effect snow bands pushing some 30-40 miles inland in some cases! For us locally, snow showers continue in eastern Porter and much of LaPorte County–so far no big deal in terms of travel problems etc…but we are seeing some roads begin to slicken up now that the sun has gone done. This snow should wrap up pretty quickly overnight as drier air and a wind shift begins to work in. We’ll be cold with lows dropping back into the 10s to near 20 for the start of your Tuesday!
