FAR OUT FRIDAY: PATTERN CHANGE AROUND THANKSGIVING

Good Friday morning everyone! Quiet weather continues in the near term with lots of sunshine and a few intervals of clouds (tonight and then again late Saturday into early Sunday). There is a lot happening in the big picture, however, and this will begin to impact the lower 48 as we head into the week of Thanksgiving as a large area of cold air over Siberia begins to track its way into Alaska and then western Canada. This will spin up some kind of larger storm system (or storm systems)…way too early to look at any details, but you can clearly see the changes in snowfall in the western US in the 10-15 day range…
