We can see a lot as we look down from space this morning. Lake effect clouds are exiting and giving way to sunshine across the Region. More clouds are moving in from the northwest as another weak system slides through the Great Lakes. And more subtly, you can see our fresh snowpack across a good portion of the Region back into Illinois and Wisconsin–it’s the white areas on the satellite that are NOT moving. You can even see some of it melting, or shrinking in coverage as the morning has progressed! Neat! Warmer air is on the way–we’ll cover that in our next post!
