Temps will be into the low to mid 90s today. Yes, that’s hot. The real issue will be the surge of incredibly thick tropical air that moves in today with dewpoints expected to rise to near 80 degrees at times this afternoon. The combination of the high temps and dewpoints will produce heat indices into the 105-115 range today with highest readings in our western counties. Please take care of yourself and others today.
