Take a look at our heat indices (or feels like temps) from today. (see below) Locations just 30-40 miles west of us in Illinois were pushing 100+ today as the thick humidity and heat within that “heat dome” isn’t far off! This dome of heat and incredible humidity is expected to push into the Region tomorrow and Thursday bringing dangerous heat indices into northwest Indiana as well. Plan accordingly if any plans take you outside of air conditioned air.
