A cold front will zip through the Region this morning into the midday hours bringing a line of storms through NWI. Heavy rain and lightning can be expected in addition to pockets of strong winds. Widespread severe weather is not expected, but some of the storms could still be on the strong side (isolated severe). We should clear things out fairly quickly later today with a cool breeze moving in from the northwest creating large waves and dangerous swim conditions on the lake. Temps tonight will return to the 50s for many as the cooler air takes hold!
