Weekend Rain Coverage

We’re almost there NWI, you can do it. We’ll have a weak frontal boundary that sags south tonight and may pop an isolated downpour or two Friday, otherwise we’re dry for the day and dry from much of Saturday. Clouds will increase and we’ll have to watch old thunderstorm clusters moving in from the west that could sneak in later in the day Saturday. Outside of those two slight risks for rain, the bigger show is expected to be Sunday as a rather organized low pressure swings east through the Midwest and Great Lakes Sunday into Sunday night. We’ll have quite the warm and humid atmosphere to work with so severe weather is possible. The Storm Prediction Center (and our local NWS) are already highlighting the risk for strong storms Sunday and we would agree. We’ll keep you updated!
