Happy Sunday everyone! An area of low pressure is currently swirling over Chicago producing a widespread area of moderate to heavy rain just to our west. This swirl will gradually work into northwest Indiana through the midday and early afternoon hours today bringing rain and rumbles back into the Region. Once this moves through, we’ll begin to lessen our rainfall chances this evening into tonight as the main forcing, or uplift in the atmosphere rolls east leaving us with a much drier forecast for our Monday and 4th of July as we’re still only expecting isolated pop-ups at best!
