As of the 6pm CT update, our AQI was at a 186 which is where it’s been all day putting us squarely in the “Unhealthy” category.

This lobe of wildfire smoke will linger over the Region through tomorrow but should come with gradual dispersal over the next 24 hours. Here’s how the LAST 24 hours has trended for the Region:

We’ll also be watching for shower and storm development tonight which as the main steering flow begins to change–will push all of this atmospheric smoke to the east for the weekend.
