Good Sunday morning everyone! After last night’s beneficial rainfall, our atmosphere is quickly reloading ahead of a cold front that will pass this afternoon. Storms are expected to quickly fire up early this afternoon somewhere in and around the Region. They’ll likely turn severe in a hurry in our highly unstable atmosphere–but the big question remains where these storms fire. The majority of model guidance develops the storms just east of us–but there’s still a good chance they develop over us instead. Regardless, be weather aware over the next 3-6 hours (we will be too) as the potential is there for these storms to be quite potent. Stay tuned.
