Region MuggyMeter Through Sunday

One of the noteworthy experiences this Spring has been the lack of thick humidity around the Region. While that directly relates to our lack of rain and dry soil, it also has a lot to do with wind direction as our wind has rarely been out of the south or southwest (which brings that tropical air out of the Gulf of Mexico). That being said we’re turning a bit more humid this week, but not terrible by any means as our wind will be out of the east (NE and SE) as an area of low pressure swirls for days to our south. By the weekend you notice we turn humid–that’s with our next system that looks to produce some much-needed rain on Sunday.
