A cold front is now south of us and we’ll return to mainly sunny skies today, but we’ll be on the comfortably cool side with highs in the lower 70s. Expect temps to hold in the upper 60s near the lakeshore as a gusty wind develops today out of the northeast! This wind will create quite the chop on Lake Michigan leading to a rip current risk and large waves along the shore–not the day to go in the water. This cool air will also be very dry with very low relative humidity values moving in–so open burning is highly discouraged as any open flames can quickly spread in this environment! Besides those two issues, enjoy the sunshine and beautiful weather!
