As we discussed in our LIVE broadcast last night, atmospheric smoke and haze from wildfires burning in Ontario will continue to drift across the Great Lakes and locally here in the Region the next few days. It’ll smell like a bonfire at times! Most of this is lofted higher in the atmosphere but some of it is in the lower levels so air quality isn’t great. Otherwise we’ll have an interval of clouds mixed with hazy sunshine today as highs reach the mid 70s. Expect a comfortably cool night ahead with lows in the mid to upper 50s.
