After a quick-hit of arctic air Wednesday, we’ll begin a slow, but steady warming trend in terms of temps through Christmas week. That doesn’t bode well for the existing snow pack across a good portion of the Midwest and Ohio Valley–including here in the Region.

Our cold nights will likely save us from a rapid melt, but with high temps in the 40s (and maybe 50s) and no major snow systems in the forecast, our white Christmas chances look slim.
