Pattern Flip Brings Spring-like Temps To Much of Eastern US

Impressive warmth will grip a good majority of the Eastern US Thursday as a storm system brings strong southwest flow from the Mississippi River east. We’ll be JUST north of a warm front that will send temps soaring into the 60s and 70s downstate. Here’s a look at the warmth on Thursday:

This warmth MAY reach us–about 50% of the models suggest it will. Still some time to sort it out–but our heavy snowpack won’t help our cause–it’ll act like a wall for any warm air until it begins to erode. Something we’ll be watching!
